Review: Soundtrack

By 70mm Idiot FARHAN (Brij)

After long time writing another review as it made me to write review due to its story telling and impact on my mind. I wanted to write review of Ra-one also but its already much late so writing review of Soundtrack.

When the movie was released I haven’t watched its single trailer only heard its songs and was knowing that Rajeev Khandelwal is there and I decided to watch it in theatre as he always do powerful movies. But somehow I couldn’t. But yesterday I finally got the chance to watch it.

Story: Raunak Kaul (Rajeev Khandelwal) is a master turntablist who spins at a nightclub in what is implied as Bandra, the hip Mumbai suburb. One day he goes deaf. Does he plunge deeper into his cocaine-and-whiskey path towards perdition and hell? Or does he crawl back up to life and music? There’s that tantalizing promise—the promise of a man’s redemption after he has hit the abyss with drugs, bad decisions, being in love with the wrong person, and a sudden physical disability.

When I watched this movie I first searched about its director and music director, and surprisingly I found both debutant in movie and I gone gaga over them. After watching I felt that now how many well made movies like this goes flop but we are getting too many people who has something new to give to bollywood. I know movie is remake of Canadian movie but it needs many efforts to make successful remake also.

In direction department, Debutant Neeraj Ghosh blew away my mind by giving such fabulous start in bollywood. No doubt movie losses its charm at many places, like he could have shown Raunak’s inner split person more effective (Like it was in a beautiful mind, Shutter island etc.) but in the first time its really too good work. Director has managed movie by showing it documentary cum drama movie with such a fabulous music.

In script and screenplay department, movie also takes credits as it is well written and executed. Still it loses focus at many places and can be developed more but still its too much effective.

In acting department, Hats off to Rajeev Khandelwal. He never fails to our expectation and always leaves much impact by being like the real character. He impresses in every shade weather as DJ or as psycho or as deaf person. Soha ali khan has done his part well. Mohan kapoor is entertaining. Mrinalini Sharma is ok. Loved special appearance of everyone.

Music and song department of the movie needs to be impressive in the musical film and so it is in this movie. Almost all songs are well made and well placed. Starting music and when Raunak feels the music first time after being deaf are awesome.

In short, the movie is power pack surprise with superb acting, Fabulous music and well executed story with some lake of ineffective scenes.

My rating – 3.45/5

(Must watch for the bollywood lovers who like something different.)

Review: Saheb Biwi aur Gangster

By 70mm Idiot FARHAN (Brij)

With this Friday, one more movie came to the list of movies like Omkara, Maqbool etc. which is inspired from the great plays. Saheb biwi aur gangster is inspired from the Macbeth and classic movie Saheb biwi aur ghulam with the touch of current conditions.

Story: Aditya Pratap Singh is Saheb (Jimmy Sheirgill) in his story, coming from a royal lineage, though royalty seems to be evading him with changing times. He struggles to maintain his regal lifestyle through his own political nexus. Biwi (Mahie Gill) is his third wife who yearns for Saheb's attention but he is too busy with his mistress. A smalltime gangster Babloo (Randeep Hooda) is appointed as the new driver of Saheb's wife. Soon enough, the lovelorn wife falls for Babloo, resulting into a lethal illicit affair. But there's more than what meets the eye.

There are two types of movies one in which movie becomes grippe due to its story and in another its characters make movie grippe. In this director develops characters which beautifully hold movie upto the end.

In direction department, I can say After Haasil I was waiting for his movie like this (As Shagird and Charas were not upto that level). From the characters and each scenes we can see that how precisely he has worked on the movie.

In script and screenplay department, movie is very sound as and becomes more appealing as it reaches to its climax because there are too much of unexpected twists and dialogues of this movie are also appealing and put another star to this movie.

In acting department, As a royal prince “Saheb” Jimmy sheirgill had done his best. He was looking as greedy king who want his empire back against genda singh. Mahie gill was excellent as a moody, mad, sexy and greedy “Biwi” who wants her nights and her position as wife back. Randeep huda had also given his best as sarfeera, moody, selfish and greedy “Gangster” who wants his love and want the kingdom. Chemistry between everybody is also very well.

In music and song department movie seems somewhat weak as if songs were more better than movie would be at different heights.

Overall I will say movie is totally enjoyable for all the classes. It has everything Lust, Power, Politics, Betrayal, Action, Drama. Movie is power-pack of excellent acting, characters, dialogues and twists.

My rating - 4/5

(Go to watch with expectation, it will be sure above your expectation…must watch)

Mausam Review

By 70mm Idiot FARHAN (Brij)

When anything comes with a name of Pankaj Kapoor expectations becomes very high weather it’s a movie or a serial. Mausam also came with lots of expectation as it has been directed by Pankaj Kapoor.

Story: Harinder Singh aka Harry (Shahid kapoor), whiles away his time in his native village, waiting for the letter to join the Indian Air Force. But before the letter arrives, he falls in love with Aayat (Sonam Kapoor), the displaced Kashmiri girl who lands up in the village when Kashmir falls prey to insurgency. However, the ill-fated romance gets disrupted by the political events like the Ayodhya dispute, the Mumbai bomb blasts, the Kargil war, the Gujarat riots.... The world simmers, violence spreads, but love never dies as Harry and Aayat keep hoping for a re-union, despite the passing years and the turbulent landscape

When I have gone to watch this movie I have heard lots of bad reviews but somewhere in mind i have good feelings for this movie as after all its Pankaj Kapoor’s movie who never do anything just to earn.

When the movie started I fell in love with whole place he shown, the characters and artistic touch of pankaj kapoor. Romance of harry and Aayat was shown very beautifully. Romantic moments like Talking with each other by notes, Shahid watches from rooftop, rain scene, Conversation without saying anything were awesome.

Upto interval movie is fantastic but after interval it loses grip due to too much separations, unneeded action scenes, events like godhra…tiger hill...babri mosque…twin tower blast and with too much filmy climax.

In direction and cinematography department Pankaj Kapoor has done his best. Kudos to him. His way of showing the movie was fantastic. He just needed to cut movie length by not showing unnecessary events.

Shahid and Sonam are perfect for this role. You will love Shahid in all the shades like Desi boy of Punjab, lover boy, Air force officer, Handicapped one. Like wise you will like sonam as Desi girl of Kashmir, Ballet dancer. Though shahid was looking pretty young as Air force officer but he managed it very well.

In music and song department movie is powerful. None of them were unnecessarily put in the movie. Song while passing the note was surprise package for me, loved it very much. In script and screenplay department pankaj kapoor had to work to make movie better.

Overall I can say movie takes has too much to offer to the audience which they can’t digest due to its unnecessary length. If you are going to watch this movie then don’t go with much expectations.

My rating - 3.1/5

(In some parts its good else it is wasted due to its bad screenplay )

Bol Movie review

By 70mm Idiot FARHAN (Brij)

After successful take on terrorism in movie Khuda ke liye here director Shoiab mansoor comes with movie Bol on sensitive issue of mankind and with a serious social message.

Story: Bol is the story of Hakeem Sahib, who resides in Lahore and has 14 children in total, but out of them- only seven daughters and a son survive. He hates everyone and uses religion to control them. The house is always threatened by the father, either through religion or by force. Eventually his daughter decides to voice out her opinion and when all her attempts fail she happens to kill her father. The killing brings her on the verge of being hanged. Eventually she is hanged, but leaves people with few questions in their minds, the most important one being ‘if you cannot feed your children, why do you give a birth to them?’

After a lot of heard about movie we have gone to watch it with lots of expectations and movie lived to all the expectation as its story and acting was truly bestest But over all movie was not as best as Khuda ke liye.

Story is very strong and screenplay was also best. Of course when movies go on social issues it have been liked more but become somewhat boring also but some movies leave mark on you and this movie is on of that movie kinda. All credits goes to Director Shoaib Mansoor.

In Acting part, Humaima Malick has done excellent work as an eldest daughter and makes movie remarkable with her acting. And secondly Manzar Zehbai who lived a father’s character very well. Aatif aslam’s role is too small but that was good as his acting was worst.

Overall I can say movie takes on many social issues but with effective and not by boring way. Movie lives on all’s expectations and leaves a very sensible question behind on everyone's mind.

My rating – 3.45/5

(People who likes messaging movie will like it more. Don’t go if you are going to see Aatif as an actor plz...)

Review: Chala Mussadi Office Office

By 70mm Idiot FARHAN (Brij)

When it released, all India was fighting against the corruption with the Anna hazaare. Whole surrounding environment was talking about corruption and at that time this movie came. It was the perfect time for the movie but still it wasn’t so successful.

Story: Mussaddi Lal (Pankaj Kapoor), a retired school teacher goes on a pilgrimage for three months after his wife's death. When he returns, he finds his pension has been stopped and the pension office has declared him dead. What follows is his endless struggle against the petty corruption in the government office where the infamous gang of five -- Manoj Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra, Deven Bhojani, Hemant Pandey and Asawari Joshi -- are determined to fleece him till the very end.

The movie is about aam aadmi (no not about mango man yaar…common man) who faces corruption in every situation. Script is very well written and executed. To make a movie from serial is a tough work which Rajiv mehra (Director) has done very well.

In acting department there are all the actors which should be there in the movie. If I have to say anything about pankaj kapoor than I will say Hats Off to this man. He works so perfect as we feel that he is really that character.

Manoj Pahva, Hemant pandey, Asawari joshi, Sanjay mishra and Gaurav kapoor has done good work but I loved Deven bhojani’s work too much among them. He executed all the different characters very well and fitted perfectly in all situations. Hope will see him more in the movies also.

In end we can say that movie is totally fun ride with a serious message like corruption with strong acting by everyone.

My rating - 2.8/5

(I will say give a try to this movie. You are going to love Mussadi, Patel, Bhatiya, Pandey, Ushaji and shukla.)

Review: Bodyguard

By 70mm Idiot FARHAN (Brij)

If you are going to watch Sallu’s film so you will get some good actions, his own lovely styles and comedies. After super success of ‘Wanted’, ‘Dabbang’ & ‘Ready’, Sallu comes with ‘Bodyguard’. But this time movie fails to create his magic like before movies.

Story: Lovely singh (Salman Khan) as the newly-appointed hot-n-happening bodyguard of Divya (Kareena Kapoor) who follows her everywhere from classroom till bedroom. To divert him from duty, Divya starts flirting with Lovely on phone posing as an anonymous caller. Until she expectedly falls in love with him.

This movie reminds us two other khan’s movies. Somewhat of Aamir’s gajini & Srk’s k2h2.(No kareena doesn’t die and not sallu falls in love with two girls..:P). Movie has nothing new to offer in any area.

Many of us won’t know that this movie is also remake. Director Siddique has made it in Tamil and Malayalam before. Don’t know about before versions but this movie fails to expectation at some places like action scenes are good but some easily looks like computerized. Screenplay is also not much good. Movie should be edited because it looks long at manyplaces. Some camera angles were best though.

Music and BGM is good and makes movie melodious at some places but I feel music of “Teri Meri” could be used at many places. Songs comes in between without any reason but its ok as songs are entertaining. Video of “Teri Meri” could be made much better than it was.

Acting of salman khan is only thing which makes movie watchable. He was perfect in every scene. Kareena was as expected. But she was looking very good in some scenes and dresses. Raj babbar has given justice to his role. Aaditya Pancholi & Mahesh majrekar are wasted as they have nothing much to do. Rajat Rawail was unbearable only his tee’s captions were good.

At all we can say if you are sallu fan then only you will like this movie. Because there is nothing good then sallu and the movie songs.

My rating - 2.8/5

(I will only say that, “Khud pe ek ehsaan karna…ke is movie pe koi ehsaan na karma…”

Aarakshan - Movie Review

An open letter to the director:

Dear Prakash Jha,

Just came back from your movie Aarakshan, and couldnt stop myself writing you this letter. You made a quite decent movie with fantastic performances from the actors, but the movie could have named "Prabhakar" or
"Shiksha" and wrongly named "Aarakshan" if you ask me. Yes the movie is not entirely based on the issue of reservation but is based on issue of commercialization of education and one man - Dr. Prabhakar Anand (played by Big B)'s fight towards that issue and his suffering due to his principles. The name of the movie and publicity of the movie based on the single issue of reservation depicts the viewers and can disappoint the viewers who wants to watch a master piece on this burning issue from the director of caliber like you.

Anyways, if one ignores the depiction or he/she knows that this movie is not entirely based on that issue would surely enjoy the film as it's quite wellmade and as earlier said with really good performances by Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpeyi, Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan. Most characters, be it Prabhakar Anand (big b), Deepak Kumar (saif ali khan), Dr. Mithilesh(Manoj Bajpeyi), Sushant (Pratiek Babbar), Purbi (Deepika),

Prabhakar's wife (Tanvi Aazmi), Tabelawala (Yashpal Sharma), Inspector Thakur (Mukesh Tiwari), Corrupt Politician (Saurabh Sharma), Dalit Neta (dont know his name), Pandit (dont know his name too) are well defined and this is the USP of the film.

Negative points can be film's excessive length, and though some characters like Deepak Kumar or Sushant getting less scope, and depiction as earlier mentioned.

Music doesnt let you down, but couldnt generate more curiosity too.

Performance wise every body performs really well, but it's an Amitabh Bachchan film clearly, though Manoj Bajpeyi also impresses equally.

Overall, this film could be a gr8 film (like Gangajal - just watched it again yesterday on a sattelite channel) but it just manages to be a good decent film.

3.35 cheers for the film.

regards,
a film fan - the 70 mm idiot Rancho - Hardik Raychanda

P.S. : film has nothing to make it controversial.

Bad movie dis one is. First half is just a long discussion which leads d movie nowhere..and 2nd half is better but has nothing to do with the first half..

in simple words.. "Iss Aarakshan me do movies basi hain" :|

Main thing is..this movie had to raise the issue in common..first half somehow succeeds in that too[bt as said above..it's just long boring lecture or discussion]..but second half is just about Big B's character's personal issues n all..

n honestly..Big B is a great actor no doubt about that..but dese all movies in recent times by him..his performances are just similar..neways in short, i dint like him in dis one..not Saif..not Deepika n not even Pratik..Saif is gud in some scenes..but not wat was expected from him..even Pratik made me wonder how come he performed amazingly in his last two movies.

My Ratings of 7 different movies

As have watched many a movies while, and getting not much time to write reviews(letters)..

for this time, just posting the ratings of some movies i recently watched, over here:

1. Singham - 1/5
Despite the fact that it's going super hit, i didn't like it at all. Apart from Ajay Devgan & Prakash Raje's performance, i found every other thing just too badly executed.

2. Cloudy with the chance of meatballs (animation) - 3/5
What if someday Hot Dogs/Meat balls rain from clouds? Our nerdy hero invents a machine to do so. Coz of ignorance and arrogance, after some success, it becomes a night mare.
Caution: Dont watch it after over eating.. you may throw.. :P :P

3. The curious case of Benjamin Button - 3.75/5
Brad Pit's award winning film has super concept, performances and direction. Though a bit lengthy approach gets it a bit less points from me.

4. Ragini MMS - 2.5/5
Based on true events, Ekta Kapoor's Ragini MMS may scare you. Though, a bit improvement could have made it super.
P.S. The girl playing Ragini is v. sexy.

5. Iron Man 2 - 3.5/5
A mast sequel to Iron Man is a must watch for super hero lovers. Cool Time Pass it is.

6. Happy Days (Telugu)- 3.75/5
Eight Friends enters the course of Bachelors of Engineering. The story is of their friendship, their love, their college life ends when they graduate from the college.
If you dont mind reading subtitles while watching the movie, this movie is for you.
The climax song - Happy Days makes one cry who have felt those happy college days.

7. Surrogates - 2.75/5
Bruce Willis starrer Surrogates is the futurastic sci-fi based on a comic, imagining that mostly everybody on earth has started using their surrogate robots sitting ideally on mechanical chair.
If you are diehard fans of sci-fi movies, then this is for u.

Thanks,

Singham - Movie Review

Wonder wat would have happened if any of d lead actors had acted even a bit weaker..

Can say..after a long time..saw a battle of equally powerful characters n actors

n better dis movie nt compared wid Dabangg Dis movie at least has some kind of story(though nt great one..bt thing dat makes dis one better dan Dabangg is..it REALLY has some story ).

Sallu was superb in Dabangg..bt honestly, he couldnt have given performance like Ajay in dis movie..

In some scenes like 'Maajhi Satkel' n 'Chautha sher'..i just couldnt think of any oder actor who could replace Ajay

n Prakash Raj is great as expected..even better dan Wanted [minus his last movie Bbudaah..where he was in guest appearance..so wont count him in dat movie ]

Kaajal was good too..bt her character worked like Brake..making d movie lose its speed

Can see dis movie for infinite times just to watch Ajay n Prakash Raj scenes

First half was weak n dose funny scenes could hardly make me laugh..bt den..Shikaari comes n Singham roars

lol one scene was unintentionally funny..where after knocking d bad guys down..Ajay looks at Kaajal n Kaajal goes near to him..just to hold Ajay's gun while Ajay is beating d guys..as if Kaajal is umpire n Ajay is a bowler in a cricket match

Overall an average movie turns out to be a very good one bcz of outstanding performances.

Last year, Ajay gave us Sultaan Mirza..n dis year, Bajiraao Singham

Movie: 3.5/5

_______________

hey, nice review Nilay.. nice to see you back with bang in the blog.. :)

well, i just rated it 1/5, as i didnt like the film..

like u mentioned that umpire wala scene, it inspired me to write one thing too... :P

in the film, the widow of the police officer always takes her said to be 5 year old son to literally everywhere in the scene, wherever she herself is in the frame, he is with her..
socho kya kaheti hogi wo use...

to prastut hain, kuch deleted scenes from Singham..

the-said-to-be-5-year-old-son: mummy, mummy, mujhe garden me gumaane le jaao na..
mummy: are beta, baagiche me kya ghumna hai, chal tujhe police station le ke jaati hun... :P

after some days...

the-said-to-be-5-year-old-son: mummy, mummy, mujhe beach me gumaane le jaao na..
mummy: are beta, beach pe kya mazaa aayega...chal main ek politician se milne jaa rahi hu, tujhe waha ghuma laati hun... :P

after such some incidents..
once finally..
the-said-to-be-5-year-old-son cryingly: mummy, mujhe waha har jaga pe maza nahi aata... haalanki mujhe 5 saal ka bataaya gaya hai.. main hu to bada.. mujhe bhi party vagara me jaana hai...
Mummy: Singham bhai.. Wo Police Farewell Party chal rahi hai..
Singham: Achha... chalo let's go.. Mujhe waise bhi police walo ko lecture dena hai... waha sare honge.. bachche ko saath me laa rahi ho na..
Mummy: Haan... ye usi ka idea tha..

:P :D :P

Haunted - Review

Surely funniest movie of the year after pkp watta script

This is something new when bollywood ghosts were becoming monotonous..here we have two ghosts..one good one..d oder one bad one..good has to be saved from bad one..n fr dat..d lead actor has to feel d pain of good one..good one na

well..if logic is applied..we come to knw dat d lead actor falls in love wid d girl whose age must have been same as age of d moder of his grandmother. noo..actually just like sum comedy movies..d makers should have warned in dis one too before release of d movie: 'dis is brainless horror'.. yes of course..if u use ur brain while watching dis movie..u wont be able to value dis epic movie at all..

ok lets take some examples..d ghost of Prof. Aiyar is as hawaskhor as he used to be wen he was alive..now even ghosts have a feeling of hawas..

he tells Meera: "main jo jeete-jee jo nahin kar paya..woh ab karunga"

and rapes Meera again n again..now i doubt if a ghost can rape a human being..n even if he can..it shouldnt make any difference for Meera..he is just a ghost.. bt she kills herself..d evil ghost doesnt stop her from doing so mayb bcz he thinks it will be easy to rape her wen she is ghost..smart ghost, huh n den.. evil one keeps on doing his job..ghost raping ghost..n dis goes on for 80 years..showing how loyal dat evil ghost is.

enters our hero..who gets a projector..watches a video which was captured around d time of 1930..i doubt if something like video recorders existed in 1930..n even if it did..den why d actress bahaves like a child wen d actor takes a pic of her from his mobile n shows her..calling it a 'magic' too tough to understand.

my fav scene from d movie? dat scene wen d evil ghost enters d body of miss magrate or whoever her name was..n den tries to rape Meera..something new fr bollywood  n wait..even better thing is yet to happen..dat jungle scene..wen dat miss magrate is flying in d air like superman or krissh..as if she is riding invisible bicycle..wow..watta scene

d climax is equally zabardast..wen either d evil ghost..or d lead characters r shown flying here to there..

n our magician ghost creates walls around d actress n locks all d ways to go out frm der..n we feel d ghost is inside..intending to rape d actress again..bt d ghost who behaved smartly till now turns out to be lallu..he is nt der..in fact, he is outside dat little room..now wat was need to lock d actress wen he himself wasnt inside

overall..it's a damn funny movie..n u will be surprised to see dat makers of Raaz n 1920 can also make such a funny movie you may also fall in love wid Shaapit after watching this one..in simple words, A Must Watch!!

Movie: 1/5

Review: Harry potter and deathly hollows part-II

By 70mm Idiot FARHAN (Brij)
.

Story: The final chapter begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione continue their quest of finding and destroying the Dark Lord's three remaining Horcruxes, the magical items responsible for his immortality. But as the mystical Deathly Hallows are uncovered, and Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again.

.

It all started in movie world from July 2001.When it came it made his whole new world among the movies and made his place in people’s mind. Then craze was increased as parts came one by one and it all ended (as said by rolling but one won’t believe after watching its said last part) after 10 years on this July 2011.

.

I was very excited and also sad as it was the end of the Harry potter Ira by its last part deathly hollows-II. Heard too much about last part and expected also a lot as it was last part and the end of Voldemort but movie fails from my expectation as its ended easily without much efforts from harry.

.

In acting part I loved everyone’s acting and in direction also movie is well managed as it has good action scenes which we expect in last part. But director fails in giving the importance to its main characters which people loved like Hermione & Ron in its last part.

.

Story linking is done excellent as it reminds us most of the moments of all the parts and connected with harry potter but its ended very pathetically and in very typical kinda manner.

.

My rating – 3.75/5

(Must watch for Potter series lovers as it is (said)last part of the series)

.

In end I can say that if anyone ask me which movie series you liked most then without thinking and doubt I will say its Harry Potter series. Love u harry potter and will miss you.(Now I am gonna watch all parts together again)

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara : Movie Review

An open letter to Farhan Akhtar,

Dear Farhan,

You simply rock. As director you have created all brilliant films, your debut film Dil Chahta Hai is a cult film, which inspired all directors of India to make fresh looking light hearted urban films. Then came Lakshya, which was not commercially that successful, but was nevertheless a good film. Don, from which I expected nothing, hated the idea as the original starring Big B is one of my most fav Big B film, was splendid and established you as master. As producer, you have attempted fantastic films too. And now as an actor, you are getting better and better day by day. You rocked in Rock On, you were fantastic in LBC and KCK and in ZNMD too you have successfully stolen the show from my favorites Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol who have established themselves as good actors.

Your role in the film is quite meatier and helps you stealing the show. Hrithik (whom you originally wanted to cast in DCH) is again fantastic in serious-all-business-minded-guy and changed-in-love-living-life-guy both. Abhay Deol is as always dependable, his tricks in the films are hilarious. Chemistry between you three is awesome. It feels like three real friends are on road trip.

I hope you make sequel to this as producer, keeping Zoya on director’s seat again, as I think, she was brilliant as director. She might have lived her life with lots of male friends as it not for a single moment seems like a film directed by lady director (which was the only minus point of LBC from my point of view). Hoping to see more from her.

Dialogues are fantastic and makes one laugh, smile and think for sure. Story, Screenplay and Script are marvelous. Music is in rhythm with film’s flow.

All positive – No. Something minor which I found not-so-positive was Katrina’s suitability for Laila’s role and SEL’s music. Katrina has done decent work compared to her past films, but fails to convince what her character needs to convince (and though I don’t like Kariena that much, but I feel she suited for this role very much) though Hrithik being her counter part balances very well, and Hrithik and Katrina looks good together. SEL’s music is not as great as their former films, though manages to please.

Fav Moments in the film:
Too many. Though listing some of them.

1. Kabeer’s all tricks
2. Imran’s flirt with Laila and her friend
3. Imran’s each funny comment
4. Arjun - Imran's fights
5. Bagwati
6. Each Poetry recited by Imran
7. The moments which inspires those Poetries
8. In the Air Scenes
9. Imran & Salman’s meeting
10. Imran & Arjun’s meeting their after
11. Kabeer’s Flashback
12. Arjun crying after Underwater ‘Meditation’

All and over, it’s not DCH, it’s not Rock On. Though, it has shades of both the films, but it’s quite different story to tell and as it has many pleasing moments, one must watch it.

Simply, 4.05 cheers for the film.

Watched it on the first day last show…waiting for this movie from the day when I watched its first look…

.

After long time watched any movie with their own and natural acting. Thanx to zoya and farhan for that. Movie was as expected very light hearted and full of entertainment. It has story, dialogues, Perfect Actors and Acting, Music, Direction. In short everything.

.

In acting starting with Abhay deol. He was shown as he really is. With lots of risky ideas and Faadu tricks. After watching his movies we can imagine in real he would be like that only. Mast and perfact acting.

Fav scenes of Abhay: Bathroom shouting Idea scene, Natasha comes to spain, His trick on Arjun and then their laugh on him.

.

Farhan akhtar has done all different roles in his movies. In this he has done excellent work as shaayar and makes u laugh at all the time. His shaayari’s were mind blasting and his chosen sport challenge was also bestest. Poems speaken by him was also full of feelings.

Fav scenes of me(Farhan:P): Bagvati scenes, His Flirty scenes with Laila & her friend, Scenes with Salman and avoiding scenes also.

.

Hritik roshan was also somewhat in his real character. He was looking dude and smart in each and every frame. His acting was also awesome.

Katerina kaif has done good work then her last films. She was looking gorgeous as always. I can say her and hritik’s pair was looking awesome then any other. But still she could be done much well. Kalki haven’t much role in the movie.

In last the movie is totally enjoyable and fresh movie. Some had found the film slow but it's not. Movie moves at 24 frames per second only(:D:P). Movie will make you laugh and feel good when you leave theatre.
